At least once a summer, we make a trip to our favorite spot in Texas-New Braunfels!
We love this little town! There is so much to do. Now that Addison is bigger (and busier), its a bit harder to be on the go all the time, but it forces all of us to slow down and nap, too!
We discovered The Winery on The Gruene several years ago. Now, we make it a point to come back for a wine tasting every time we are in town. I always stock up on a few bottles for my wine rack at home.
We spent a lot of relaxing time at Grandma's house!
We also did a lot of shopping, too!
If you have ever read my blog, you know I have a little water baby on my hands. We went to the Landa Park Aquatic Center to swim on Friday evening.
I'm not sure how many times she went down this slide, but loved it each time!
Addison has no trouble making friends, especially if they have something she wants! In this case, her new friend had been collecting minnows and Addison had to join him.
David and Colin came to Texas from Boston on Wednesday night, but made it to Grandma's house on Saturday. We didn't waste any time and headed straight to the river to float!

We love David! We were trying to recreate a picture we have from a cruise a long time ago!
Once David and Colin got to New Braunfels, we moved from Grandma's house to Camp Warneke Condos. This was our view from our downstairs patio. Glorious!
On Sunday morning, we met at the Coffee Shop for breakfast, then headed to Schlitterbahn!
I was a bit nervous how Addison would do, but she couldn't have loved it more!!
We took a few sun breaks and had some delicious snacks!
Addison finally warmed up to Uncle Colin and played games with him all Monday morning!
Lately, Addison has been obsessed with firetrucks! The NB Fire Station is right off the Plaza. On Monday morning, we stopped by before we headed home.
The fireman was so good to Addison! He turned on the lights on every truck!
She listened to his every word he had to say, but was most excited when they got called away to an emergency.
Opa Geisler had to explain to her that they went to help somebody.
This is always such a fun, fun weekend! We love spending time with The Geislers-especialy when David and Colin are in town!
Finally, Addison crashed after we were in the car for about 30 minutes!
She wasn't the only exhausted one! Layla was worn out after her vacation at mom and dad's house!
